Think of a time you experienced a stressful situation. Why was it stressful, and how did you know you were stressed?

What's your favorite quote, mantra, or affirmation you tell yourself when you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed?

 

Step 2: DO

Please look through the menu below, and choose one activity to practice throughout the month, or pick a few activities to try out

 

 

1. Practice mindfulness for 5-10 mins a day 

Use this guided meditationvisit a place on the map & download an App, or try the free Koru audios 

2. Take the stress inventory 

Note your thought traps and practice a new positive coping strategy next time you feel this way​

3. Keep a gratitude journal

Write 1-3 things a day that you are grateful for to gain a new perspective of what is important to you and what you truly appreciate in your life

4. Monitor your mental diet

Set aside 15 mins to take inventory of what you mentally consume in a typical day including your          technology and TV consumption and how the media and social media makes you feel. Consider taking  time each day to unplug to reduce feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and comparison 

 
5. Indulge in 30 minutes of “me time” a day to recharge

Input this time into your calendar and make it a priority
